Cartagena's airport is the Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG).

There's lots of direct flights to Cartagena from major cities, so we're hoping travel will be as painless as possible. Typically, the best fares are about 120-150 days prior to the date. Google flights is a great resource for watching flights and Hopper is a great app as well.

The airport is only 10-15 minutes by car to the old city. When you exit the airport there will be a taxi service to your left next to the money exchange office. Wait in line and give your hotel address to the fare estimate assistant in the window. They will print a receipt with the approximate cost of your taxi in pesos. The taxi should be less than $10 USD. Re-confirm the price with the driver before getting into the taxi.

Cartagena is well and truly geared up for tourism, with large hotels, smaller boutiques and hostels to suit every budget. Another great place to check is Airbnb as a lot of the homes are super close to the venues! If you can, try to find somewhere in or near the Old City, which is the old fortified city and where the wedding will be taking place.
