Catalina and Greg’s love story began innocently in December 2016 when, at Luisa and Kate's (bride and groom's sisters) urging, Catalina agreed to meet Greg for a blind date at Southern Gentleman in Atlanta.

Catalina was in Bogotá, Colombia to attend a business program there at the time but was home on Christmas break, and Greg was enjoying his new life in Atlanta and doing some traveling of his own. The two bonded over their travel stories, their similar corny personalities (mostly Greg’s;), and their crazy meddling sisters. When Catalina returned to Atlanta in March 2017, Greg asked her to go to the Naked Magicians comedy show, and the rest is history!

Over the past year and a half, Catalina and Greg have been nearly inseparable, adventuring together in Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Catalina’s hometown of Bogotá. Greg had met some great southerners in Atlanta but he realized he needed to go “way further south” (like, to South America) to find what he really wanted in life .....

In March 2018, Greg took unsuspecting Catalina to a beautiful vista in the woods (known as the Azalea Bowl at Callaway Gardens) and, after waiting patiently for throngs of azalea tourists to get out of the way, he proposed! Catalina nearly fainted but said yes!

We are both very excited to begin this new chapter of our lives together and are so grateful to our family and friends who have been there for us along the way. We cannot wait to celebrate our big day with you!
