We first met through a dating app, and the very first message Tyler sent was: “When and where are we getting married?” It was bold, funny, and surprisingly charming—enough to spark a conversation that neither of us wanted to end.
At the time, Catalina was living in New Jersey, so we spent hours every day talking over video calls, getting to know each other from a distance. Little by little, trust and affection began to grow. Even though everything was happening quickly, we both felt it was time to meet in person. With a mix of nerves and excitement, Catalina took a train and Tyler drove to Albany, where we finally saw each other for the first time—both thinking, “Wow, this is real.”
From that moment on, everything felt natural and surprisingly easy. As the days passed, we realized that what we had was something genuine and beautiful, built on shared values: creating a loving family and walking through life side by side.
Since then, we’ve carried those hopes and dreams with us. Despite cultural differences and life’s challenges, our love continues to grow deeper every day, and we can’t wait to build our future together.
