What is your phone policy for the wedding?
We are so very excited to share these special moments with our guests and have an amazing photographer to capture them! We kindly and sincerely ask that our guests refrain from taking any photos or videos and silence or turn off your devices during the ceremony so we can fully embrace this moment. Once the ceremony has concluded you're more than welcome to snap away. Thank you for respecting our wishes!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors good weather permitting. The cocktail hour and the reception will primarily take place outdoors but the dinner/reception will be held underneath a tent. DJ and dancing will be held in the adjacent barn. While there are some paths throughout and the reception tent has a hard floor, guests will need to walk on grass for the outdoor ceremony and to travel through different parts of the campus. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue? And will there be shuttle access?
For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking. However, space is limited so guests are encouraged to car pool and ride share if possible.
There will be limited shuttle service available from 8-10:30 PM to and from the Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites. See Travel section for more information.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
More details to follow but we will have reserved a room block at a few local area hotels. Check the Travel tab on our website for up to date information on where to book and cut off dates.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
We ask that you wear semi-formal attire. Attire such as a cocktail-length dress, dressy separates or a suit and tie are encouraged. Guests should be aware that the wedding will primarily be outdoors so consider comfortable shoes and an additional layer for cooler temperatures at night.
