Can I bring a plus-one? What about children?
We are not allowing additional plus-ones or children whose names are not listed on the invitation/ RSVP. Our space is limited, and we will not be able to accommodate unexpected guests.
When should I arrive for the ceremony?
We please ask that everyone arrive to the location AT LEAST 15 minutes before the ceremony time, though the church will be open for seating 30 minutes prior or earlier. Late arrival will interfere with the procession of the wedding party.
What should I expect at a Catholic Wedding Ceremony?
Our wedding ceremony is open to people of any faith or no faith. Your support, love, and witness of this important moment for us is all we ask from guests.
Our wedding will take place during a full Catholic Mass. In any Catholic Mass, there are several points where the congregation prays, sings, or says a creed together. All guests are welcome to participate.
Near the end of the Mass, the congregation comes forward to receive Communion (Jesus’ body and blood in the visual form of bread and wine).
For practicing Catholics, the Eucharist is received on the tongue at this parish.
If you are not a practicing Catholic, you can come forward to receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest in an “X” shape. You are also welcome to stay seated at this time, if preferred.
The mass will be around 75 minutes in total.
