His 19-year-old self was smitten, and despite his unconventional choice of Panera Bread for their first date, their connection was undeniable.

College days for Catherine and Ryan were tied together with shared coffee runs before classes and impromptu road trips, including the unforgettable 10-hour drives to Florida. The fun only continued after graduation, and saw them exploring seven countries across Europe, creating a lifetime of memories together! After moving back in with their parents and spending nearly two years long-distance, their hearts truly did grow fonder.

Exactly two years after moving in together, Ryan planned an unforgettable surprise, with their families in secret collaboration. Under the disguise of an Easter family holiday in Naples, Florida, Ryan asked her to be his wife on the beach of The Port Royal Club—a place where so many of her childhood memories were made. She immediately said YES, and the surprises continued from there. The newly engaged couple were then surrounded by their eagerly awaiting family and loved ones hiding in the bushes waiting to congratulate them!
