like most couples do, online. :) Their first date consisted of getting drinks at The Barrelhouse in Burlingame. 

Nick truly won Catherine over when he cooked for her on their third date! He very wisely went to his mom for advice on what to cook and ended up expertly grilling Ginger Soy Halibut (that they still make today!)







Fast forward a year and 5 months later Nick and Catherine decided to merge their families together. Catherine and Bella Boo infiltrated the former bachelor pad of Nick and Oscar, which&nbsp;worked out really well. FINALLY Oscar had a fellow four legged friend to police him when he scratched the chair, played with toys too roughly, or made any general movement. 







A little over a year after that, Nick decided to take Catherine out to dinner for her birthday on May 12, 2018 to Cavallo Point in San Francisco. After parking the car, Nick wanted to show off the amazing view of San Francisco and open birthday gifts-- in about 100 mph wind. Nick handed Catherine her present which consisted of a red rose. (Of course a Bachelor reference, which Catherine enjoys as a guilty pleasure and Nick ever-so endearingly watches with her). She replied “Oh does this mean I get to move on to next week?!” Nick “No, I choose you”. Catherine “whhhhhatttt”. As Nick gets down on one knee and pulls a little black bag out of his pocket, with a very shiny ring inside.

Directions:

Take Highway 17 to the Summit Road exit.







- IF&nbsp;traveling south on 17 (from San Jose) turn right at the top of the exit, go over the freeway and turn left on Summit Road







- IF&nbsp;traveling north on 17 (from Santa Cruz) the Summit Road exit turns into Summit Road, proceed to the right







Go one mile to Old Santa Cruz Highway and turn left







Go 0.6 mile downhill (north) and look for 4 green mail boxes off the road on the right.







Follow the fence-line down past two houses to a large gate, and park in the lot.







Walk past the buildings down the road to the Barn.

MAKE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME. Due to the wedding being on a Friday, traffic is expected on HWY 17

We plan on staying here but there are many options in downtown Los Gatos.
