When Catherine first started her teaching career, she didn't expect to eventually meet her future husband. During the Fall of 2015, Catherine and Johnny met when she was introduced as Dedham High's newest Head Cheerleading coach and Johnny could not believe his luck. It was that day that Johnny turned to his fellow coaches and stated "I'm going to marry that girl". Through various fundraisers and team events, Catherine and Johnny came to be close friends and would always be sure to stay in contact, especially when Catherine would attend an event at the Legion. Fast forward to March 2020, and Catherine reaches out to Johnny in the hopes of gaining some insight into installing a fence... herself. Johnny quickly advised her that it wasn't quite as "simple" as she might think and offered to come discuss her options of giving her dogs the yard they dreamed of. To Catherine's surprise, Johnny's family owned a fence company! After that estimate (and some wine), Johnny and Catherine became inseparable. They spent their nights during the COVID-19 pandemic playing board games at the kitchen island, sharing stories from their childhoods and their dreams for the future. It was during this time that Catherine and Johnny knew just how special their love truly was. Through the ups and downs of life, they continue to seek comfort and guidance from "their person".

Almost four years later, Johnny proposed at that same kitchen island where they shared some of their best fondest memories. Five years later from March 2020, we will be celebrating the love and commitment of John Patrick and Catherine!
