Like every great love story, this one started at Gator's, where Michael first fell in love as he and Catherine shared a beer in between matches of sand volleyball. For one of their first dates, Catherine invited Michael to a birthday dinner at Driftwood Oven where she ordered a local cider. A lover of local craft beverages, Michael was overjoyed. Finally, a woman who appreciates the finer things in life.

And like every great love story, as soon as Michael was head over heels, Catherine broke the news to him that she doesn't actually enjoy drinking - not even the slightest. Michael soon recovered, and their actual shared interests have led to many years of adventure together. There are few things more enjoyable to the two of them than hiking, sharing a pizza, and spending time with family.

Through the years, Catherine and Michael have taken many walks around North Park, through the streets of Lawrenceville, up some pretty cool mountains, and coming soon... down the aisle. But no hike has been more memorable than Looking Glass Rock in Asheville, where Michael popped the question, after subjecting Catherine to an hours' worth of switchbacks.

They could not be more excited to share this special day with the most special people in their lives. See you on September 14th!
