Erected in 1925, this historic commemorative sculpture is also known as the Man at the Wheel. The eight-foot, bronze statue is sometimes confused with the iconic image of the famed Gorton's Fisherman.

In addition to housing some of the finest works of art inspired by Cape Ann, the Cape Ann Museum is also home to the world's most expansive collection of artwork by artist and Cape Ann native Fitz Henry Lane.
