FAQ - TRAVEL
What airports can I fly into?
The closest airport is VPS which is about a 20 minute drive from Fort Walton Beach and the venue. You could also fly into PNS (Pensacola) which is about 1.5 hours away.
Can I stay in Destin?
Of course! You will have to drive across the Destin-Fort Walton Beach bridge, but during the off season, the traffic isn't very bad. We are only getting room blocks on the Fort Walton Beach side of the bridge.
What are my options if I want to stay in a house instead?
The best option for houses is to look at Beach Weekend Vacation Rentals. These are all very close to the venue (5 minute drive or 20-25 minute beach walk). Most of these houses do have a minimum number of nights you have to stay, but they can usually sleep between 12-20 people.
Do I need to rent a car?
Fort Walton Beach does have Uber and Lyft easily accessible. Some people do find it more convenient to rent a car, but it is by no means necessary! There are plenty of things within walking distance of all accommodations.
