There are tons of things to see and do in Oregon! Great day trips from the Portland area are Cannon Beach on the coast, Multnomah falls in the Gorge, wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, and Mt St. Helens up in Washington.

If you're staying a little longer, you can drive down to Bend to see the Three Sisters and Mt Bachelor, or all the way to Crater Lake National Park.

Hood river is a beautiful town on the Columbia river gorge with plenty to see! You can watch the wind surfers on the water front, or go to some of the breweries in town. There are also plenty of wineries to visit south of Hood River.

Stave & Stone Winery - 15 min drive from hood river, this winery has amazing views of Mt. Adams.

Hood River Waterfront Park - park on the columbia river where you can watch windsurfers.

Double Mountain Brewery - Brewery in Hood River with pizza and great beer.
