After eight wonderful years together, we eloped to Hawaii for our wedding and honeymoon! The intimate ceremony was just the two of us. We're celebrating with two parties, we've had our Cayman party and next up is the England party (15.8.26).

Coming Home!

A week after our wedding anniversary, we’re keeping the celebrations going with an evening of food, music, and dancing at Knebworth House. We’ll be gathering in one of their beautiful barns to mark this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us bringing both our families and friends together in one special place.

Knebworth has long been close to Catherine’s heart, and it feels like the perfect spot to raise a glass, share some stories, and throw a proper party. Expect good vibes, plenty to eat, and a dancefloor that won’t stay empty for long.

Oh, and if the venue looks familiar… Batman might’ve filmed there. So yes, you’re basically partying at Wayne Manor.

Think garden party meets barn chic with summery dresses, smart shirts, and whatever makes you feel your best. It’s a celebration, so bring your style and your dancing shoes. Wedges over stilettos are a good shout, and a layer for the evening never hurts.

It’s comfort over formalities so no need for tucked shirts, ties, or belts unless that’s your thing. We want you to feel great and dance freely all night.

Q&A

What time should I arrive by?

The invite say 6pm start. Please arrive no later than 6:30, otherwise you will miss your chance to get your photo with us :)

How do we get there and back?

While we would love to personally make sure you all get back safe, it's a big responsibility so we've asked the venue for their recommendations. Knebworth House recommend Stevenage Taxis for the area, and Uber works well too. You just drop in Knebworth Barns and it'll find you. We recommend prebooking a taxi. Arrival, unless you have been told otherwise, is at 6pm. The party finishes at midnight before James turns back into a pumpkin. The address for taxis and Uber is Knebworth Barns, Knebworth House, Hertfordshire, SG3 6PY.

Will we be fed?

YES LOTS OF FOOD! We’ve got you covered with plenty of bites and a BBQ to fill your bellies and drinks to keep you happy.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our celebrations means the world to us, and we’re not asking for gifts. Instead, if you’d like to mark the occasion, we’d love for you to consider donating to one of three charities that are especially close to our hearts: Parkinson’s UK, Dementia UK, and Mind. Each of these organisations has supported causes that have touched our lives, Catherine’s Grandma lived with Parkinson’s and dementia, and both of us feel strongly about supporting mental health through the work of Mind. https://gvwhl.com/DUSNZ Gifts Of course, if you have something personal in mind that you’d like to gift, we’d still be touched and you're welcome to bring it to the party. But truly, your love and support are more than enough.

Can I bring my children?

We love your little ones, but due to limited numbers we’re only able to include some children in our celebrations. If your children are invited, their names will appear on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding as we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can we see you before?

While we would love to see everyone before the party it will be tricky, so please do take advantage of the surrounding areas and look into having a fun day out!

Is there a ceremony and first dance?

Nope, we did both of these in private and the party is all about celebrating. Imagine a normal wedding day but starting after the ceremony bit... the food, the drinks and the dancing!

Is it going to be a set table plan?

Nope, BBQ buffet and sit where you want

Can I wear white?

No :)

Will there be speeches?

There is a form of speeches... but they are not live! We're saving some of it as a surprise ;)

What is there to do?

There's loads to explore in the area! Knebworth House itself is a fantastic place to visit, the gardens and house tours are beautiful as well as full of history linking to the suffragettes, gothic writers, Winston Churchill and Queen Elizabeth I. The kids absolutely love the dinosaur trail and adventure playground. Can you tell that I used to do tours there? The Secret Truffletier is a gorgeous little chocolate shop and factory that also does afternoon tea, perfect for a treat. I always pop there each time we're back. Hitchin Lavender is just a few miles away and is stunning in August, there's a farm shop and café too. A little further out, Hatfield House is about 20 minutes away and has an incredible past. It's where Elizabeth I was sitting under an oak tree when she was told she'd become Queen! For a bit of everything, St Albans is 20 minutes away with history, independent shops, brilliant restaurants and a Roman museum. Willows Farm is always a good one too for those who have kiddos. From what I can remember as a kid, maybe we'll join!
