Jaimes and Catherine shared a piece of their teenage years within the halls of their high school in a small town in Georgia. Though they walked the same corridors and perhaps even shared a glance or two, their paths never truly crossed.

Fast-forward to over a decade later, and fate intervened in the most unexpected way. Catherine, on a girls' trip to Las Vegas, after recently swearing off dating after a horrible first date, received a direct message from Jaimes. A simple fire emoji ignited a spark that would soon blossom into a beautiful romance.

Intrigued by the connection rekindled, they began a series of conversations, sharing stories, dreams, and laughter. The distance between them, Catherine in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Jaimes in Jacksonville, Florida, seemed to vanish with each passing message. As their bond deepened, they realized that their high school years had merely been a prelude to their love story.

Their first date was a whirlwind of excitement and nervous anticipation. A chic restaurant, the perfect setting for hours of conversation and shared glances. The chemistry was undeniable, and they knew they had found something truly special.

After graduating from residency, Catherine found a job and moved to Jacksonville Florida to continue a life with Jaimes. The proposal was a dream come true. Surrounded by our families in our backyard, Jaimes got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. It was a moment filled with love, laughter, and pure joy.

As we look towards the future, we dream of traveling the world, growing old in love, and trying new experiences together. We found each other when we least expected it, and our love story continues to unfold in the most beautiful way.
