WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE EVENT?
Black tie or festive formal attire encouraged! We kindly ask gentlemen to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie and ladies wear an evening gown or cocktail dress. To keep it fun, sequins, feathers and whatever else makes you feel fabulous is encouraged!
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
We love your kids, but to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children at the event unless we have spoken to you personally. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding kiddo-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate!
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
If your invitation was addressed to you and your partner, please come as a pair if you are able! If your invitation was addressed to only you, please respect this decision as we have limited space at the venue.
WILL THE CEREMONY BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Our ceremony, as well as the reception will be indoors. However, cocktail hour will be outside in the courtyard. Late October in New Orleans is known to be sunny and comfortable but unpredictable. Please check the weather before arriving!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?
Please do your best to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of the ceremony so we can start right at 5:30pm.
WILL THERE BE PARKING AVAILABLE AT HOTEL PETER AND PAUL?
Parking is only permitted for those who choose to stay at Hotel Peter and Paul. Otherwise, we do ask that you use the transportation we provide or Uber to the ceremony. Please do not drive to Hotel Peter and Paul if you are not a hotel guest as there will be no parking available!
WHAT IS A NEW ORLEANS STYLE RECEPTION?
We realize many of our guests may not know what a New Orleans style reception looks like. In place of a traditional sit-down dinner, we will have active food stations with the best New Orleans delicacies, and of course, drinks flowing through the night. The bar will begin serving cocktails, wine and beer at 6:00pm to the end of the evening. Food stations will be open from 7:30pm- 9:30pm. We invite you to eat, drink, dance, and mingle at your own leisure! The night is your oyster!
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AT THE EVENT?
We respectfully request that all guests put cell phones away and do not take photographs for the duration of the ceremony. Our incredibly talented photographer, Sorin, is there to capture all of the beautiful moments. We invite you to relax and enjoy this special occasion with us and promise to share the wonderful photos with you after the celebration!
