Just when Sean and Catherine both thought all hope was lost in the modern dating world, they decided to give Tinder one more chance. Catherine came across a goofy man, with an unreal pose game and an infectious smile. Sean came across a beautiful woman in an all over cat print dress, who golfed in Birkenstocks and had a smile that lit up the room. It was a no brainer that they both swipe right, but what they didn't know was that they had just met their forever person.

They matched on January 24th 2023, but like many love stories, it took some time for things to come to fruition. Catherine thought that Sean was trying to catfish her when he told her he couldn't hang because he was going to New York for work (who lives in Montana and works in New York?). Then there was Sean, who thought Catherine was not interested because she was secretly too scared and shy to hang out before he left on his trip.

After Sean got back from New York, they had their first date on February 4th 2023. This was not an ordinary date, oh no, normal isn't in their vocabulary! They had to have this date during Whitefish's Winter Carnival, on the top of Blackstar, outside, in the freezing cold... Well, if you know Catherine at all, you know how much she hates being cold. Somehow, they managed to stay out there for over four hours, and Catherine didn't even realize how cold it was. Well, she did, but she did not want to leave Sean's side. Luckily for her, Sean felt the same way. He was buried so deep in her eyes and their conversation, nothing else mattered. In fact, Sean was so inspired he decided to throw a hail Mary and kiss Catherine! Very bold, but very much welcomed!

Unfortunately for both of them, the date had to come to an end when the restaurant closed. Catherine got into Sean's car (who at this point was a stranger) and he drove her back to where she had parked. After a long hug, another kiss, and not wanting to let go, they said their goodbyes.

After their first date, the two of them texted and talked non-stop. On February 14th, more commonly known as Valentine's day, Sean and Catherine went on another date to one of their favorite spots, Alley Connection. They sat at a table secluded away from everyone, and it felt like they had the place to themselves. Sean, being the romantic he was and is, took Catherine's hands, looked her in the eyes, and asked her to officially be his girlfriend. She couldn't have said yes quicker!

From that day forward, these two have been inseparable! Whether it was a Grizz game, graduations, trips to Coeur D'Alene, a new house or their new adventure as fur parents to Mookie, Catherine & Sean have filled every moment with laughter and love along the way.

So here's to Tinder, and a dream come true!
