Our Love Story

Cat and Brian's love story began in an encounter after college (thank you Blair). At a casual hangout with friends, their paths crossed in a way that well...wasn't that exciting. They are both known for their rather fast-paced strides, and found themselves ahead of the group, engaged in a conversation that lasted well into the night. Cat, captivated by Brian's charm and height, mustered the courage to ask for Brian's number. She then realized this was Brian's first weekend back in Chicago after a six-month stint in India.

Their connection was immediate and undeniable but the communication lasted for weeks on Snapchat until it turned into texting - what were they waiting for? While a formal first date didn't happen for a couple of months, their love blossomed into a beautiful relationship that has endured for over seven years.

On August 31, 2024, Brian popped the question, sealing their commitment with a promise of forever. Their shared passion for travel, good wine, and cocktails has been a constant thread throughout their journey.

Inspired by the unforgettable summer they spent in Spain last year, Cat and Brian decided to bring a touch of the Mediterranean to their downtown Chicago wedding. This celebration will not only mark the beginning of their married life but also honor the beautiful memories they've created together.
