The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors on the Taylor’s family farm in York, Maine. Dress is casual to semi-formal. New England weather can be highly variable, but it’s likely to be hot in mid July. We all know Charlie may have worn sandals or shorts to your wedding, so we encourage you to be comfortable and come as you please! :)

At the reach of the York River, just south of Mount Agamenticus, with the West Running Brook circling, sits the farmhouse. Frost Hill gets its name from the family of the famous poet Robert Frost; the original house was built by Mary Frost and her husband Captain John Cook in the early 1700’s. Experienced through many lifetimes, the farm has been many things: the land was once a significant orchard, it has seen many travelers as a bed a breakfast, and occupancy is even shared with a shy ghost! For the past few decades it has been home to the Taylor Family and loved as Cooper’s Farm. Thank you for joining us at this special place!

Here are a few Portsmouth hotel options, just a short drive from the farm! The Sheraton and the Hampton Inn and Suites hotels are located in downtown, walking distance from shops etc. The Holiday Inn and the Courtyard Marriott are closer to the highway with more reasonable parking options.
