How do I RSVP?

The online RSVP feature will become live on the website in early July. To RSVP, click on the 'RSVP' tab at the top of the wedding website. From here, search your first and last name. If it lists "Your First Name and Guest", please complete the guest's information before proceeding. If you are not bringing a guest, click "Not Attending". You will select your meal options for dinner during the process. If you're having issues RSVP'ing yourself or your guest, please text/call Catherine at (630) 888-2580.

When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Friday, August 9.

Are children permitted to attend?

To give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate worry-free, we politely request no children attend the wedding ceremony or the reception following.

What is the attire?

Cocktail attire. Women: cocktail dresses or more formal summer dresses. Men: suit and tie or slacks, button-down and blazer. Due to warmer weather, men may wear lighter, linen/summer suits.

What is the weather like in Chicago in September?

September in Chicago is beautiful! On average, it's in the mid to high 70s during the day and mid to high 60s at night. The cocktail and dinner portions of the evening will take place outdoors, while the dancing portion will be indoors. Both the church and the inside of the reception venue have air conditioning.

Is there a hotel room block for out-of-town guests?

Due to the limited number of out-of-town guests, we did not contract a room block at any nearby hotels in Park Ridge/Rosemont/Chicago. However, please visit the 'Travel' tab for our recommended options based on location. Airbnb or VRBO sites also offer affordable stay options. If you have not done so already, we suggest booking your hotel guest room/Airbnb as soon as possible. September in Chicago is a busy travel time.

What is the distance between the church and the venue?

The church ceremony will take place at St. Paul of the Cross church in Park Ridge. The reception will take place at Chief O'Neill's in Avondale (Northwest neighborhood in Chicago). It's approximately 9 miles, ~25-30 min driving distance between the church and the reception venue depending on traffic. However, Chicago traffic in the summer significantly increases due to construction. We suggest giving yourself plenty of time to get to to the venue.

What time does the cocktail reception begin?

The cocktail reception will take place at Chief O'Neill's and will begin at 5:30 p.m., ending at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will take place immediately after followed by dancing and more fun! Please see the schedule of events tab for more details.

Is parking available at St. Paul of the Cross and at Chief O'Neill's?

Yes. Parking is available at both locations. St. Paul of the Cross has a dedicated parking lot. If you plan to drive to the reception at Chief O'Neill's, there is free street parking available on Elston Ave and on all side streets near the venue. No permit is required on these streets. Valet parking will not be available.
