Catherine and David met in 2008 while attending Northern Virginia Community College STRIVE class. We were among a special group of friends who gathered on the weekends to explore the Washington DC area museums and other sites, went hiking, and on Friday nights met for dinner and a movie at Tyson's Corner. We were always good friends, but in 2014 we started dating, but only for a short time. In 2016, Dave moved to NC with his parents to live closer to his sister and her family. We reconnected by Facebook and text messaging in 2020 then started dating again when Dave would come back to NOVA to visit his friends. On May 28, 2022 Dave asked Catherine to marry him kneeling at the waterfront of Old Town Alexandria with Dave's and Catherine's parents present to celebrate the exciting occasion. Dave is working for Morrison Healthcare at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and Catherine is working for the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria. We plan to celebrate our wedding with family and friends at The Basilica of Saint Mary and at the Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria on April 27, 2024. We are so excited and can't wait for our special day.

We plan to go to Disney World in May for our Honeymoon.
