From visiting Fredericksburg frequently, we have complied a list of some of our favorite winery's. A lot of the winery's you can show up and have a drink, but we recommend if you want to do tastings, to schedule with them before hand.

Williams Chris Vineyards (Enchante Bottle won awards)

Slate Theory (set up tasting in cellar, really cool!)

Heath Sparkling Wines (needs reservation)

Grape Creek Vineyards (needs reservation)

Barons Creek Vineyards (Easy relaxing Spot)

Becker Vineyards (One of our favorites, beautiful)

The Edge / English Newsome (awesome spot!)

Fredericksburg has some of most fun and best shops around. All the shops are boutique style, and offer everything from men's & women's clothing, Candles, leather goods, pet shops, Christmas Shops, jewelry, and the list goes on.

We recommend you set some time aside to visit the shopping area, where most all the shops are on the same strip near town center. Can't Miss it!

You can also walk around with a drink in your hand like New Orleans! How fun!!
