Our Wedding

Event Schedule

On our first trip to Denmark together in August 2023, we visited Anholt, a tiny island where Cathrine has spent summers since she was little. On a walk to the island's lighthouse, Kyle proposed, pulling off a meticulously planned surprise with Cathrine's parents on the spot taking pictures.

We are so grateful for your presence on our special day, as it truly is the greatest gift we could ask for. Please know that gifts are in no way expected! However, for those who have expressed an interest in celebrating us with a gift, we’ve set up a registry for our new life together, as well as a fund for our honeymoon in Australia!

FAQ & Registry

Getting to the venue

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Fjeldheim ("mountain home"), a Scandinavian-style chalet owned by the Nelson family in South Lake Tahoe, which holds a special place in our hearts. Address:110 Edgewood DriveStateline, NV 89449 We highly encourage taking Uber/Lyft to the venue, as parking will be extremely limited. For those flying in, we recommend Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), located approximately 60 miles away.

There are a number of great hotel & AirBnB options in the vicinity. We have also reserved a block of rooms for September 20th to 22nd at the following hotel close to Fjeldheim: Hotel Becket4003 Lake Tahoe BlvdSouth Lake Tahoe, CA 961501 (530) 544-6000 Use this link to book, or mention reference "CATKYLE"
