We met for the first time in Fall '15 at The Village Idiot in Maumee, Ohio. At the end of that serendipitous night, as he left the bar, Mike suavely placed a napkin in my purse with a note "Coffee?" along with his phone number. Legendary move. But, I didn't call.

Some time later, we became Facebook friends...yet still didn't connect for that coffee.

More time passed...Mike was in search of tickets for an event. I had access to some - so I offered them up, hoping to seize the chance to meet him. In exchange for the free tickets, he offered to take me to lunch. Deal. But, he didn't call.

A year passed...he reached out with a very charming "I think I owe you lunch" message. On a beautiful day in August '20, we shared lunch together at Swig in Perrysburg. That lead to the next date, and the next, and all the rest.

Fast forward through time as a couple loving life together, it was now December '22 and Mike planned an extraordinarily romantic proposal and asked me to be his forever wife, and of course I said yes!

We are so excited to have our friends and family join us in June '24 to share our special day with us. Cheers to serendipity, seizing the moments, living life to the fullest, and to love!
