Sean and Catie's story starts in Newport, RI where they met working at Castle Hill Inn the summer of 2017. Due to Catie being Sean's supervisor, the romance didn't begin until almost a year later. In the Spring of 2018, Catie decided to move to Tennessee to work at Blackberry Farm. Before she left, Sean helped Catie practice her french omelets over and over until they were almost perfect. They spent every day of her last week in Rhode Island together cooking, laughing and falling in love. Catie knew it was a good sign that her cats, Mushu and Bug, adored Sean. The last night before she left, they sipped champagne on the beach and dreamed about a life together thinking that this was goodbye. However, they could not stay apart for long.
Catie moved down to Tennessee in June 2018 but they kept in touch everyday. At first they were scared of a long distance relationship but by July they couldn't help themselves. They tossed around the idea of Sean moving to Tennessee and decided that by October, they would be together again. After flying up to New England to meet the Miller family, Catie finally welcomed Sean to Tennessee that October. Sean spent his first Tennessee Christmas with the Byrd Family in Franklin and shared his family's tradition of Christmas morning Fuzzy Navels.
Over the next year, their dreams on the beach that last night became a reality. They were falling deeper in love and starting a life together in Maryville, Tennessee. Then on a perfect summer day in June 2020, Sean proposed to Catie on their front door step at sunset. They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and cannot wait to share this day with their friends and family!
