Our Wedding

Jordan and Catie met the summer of 2017 at a location in Prestonsburg, Kentucky known as the "Skate Lot." Instantly a friendship began and continued the remainder of the summer into the early fall. Like most love stories, college and life took them their separate ways. Fast forward to the early Spring of 2023, they crossed paths again. Despite an ice storm, with the assistance of a couple of mutual friends (Kent and Kayce Phelps) and a few tunes by Sundy Best their love story began. The night included a lot of the songs that we once listened to that summer of 2017 in the "Skate Lot," such as 'Until I Met You', 'Four Door', 'Mountain Parkway', and 'Floyd County All-Star.". Since that night Catie and Jordan have both taken on challenges of life with each other to lead them to this point. Just a young Pike County woman and a young Floyd County man committed to spending the rest of their lives together!
