Air Travel

The closest airport near Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel is Westchester County White Plains Airport (HPN). HPN is located approximately 16 Miles from the hotel. But you’ll most likely find a better selection of airlines, prices, and travel times if you fly into LaGuardia Airport, 28 highway miles from the hotel. Cars be rented and taxis, Lyft & Uber can be found, of course, at both airports – but a NYC taxi from LaGuardia would be very expensive, not a good idea.

Train Travel

Amtrak stops in Westchester at Yonkers, New Rochelle, & Croton-on-Hudson. If you would like to come by Amtrak, contact Steven, who has used Amtrak often and can tell you more, srw919@outlook.com, (914) 319-0874.

Metro-North

If you plan on taking a train from New York City to the hotel, Metro-North’s Hudson line stops in Tarrytown, 2½ miles from the Sheraton Tarrytown, our hotel for the event.

If you plan to take the train directly to the wedding celebration at The Briarcliff Manor, Metro-North’s Hudson line stops in both Scarborough and Ossining. They are just about the same distance from the event.

Trains leave from New York City every hour on Sunday, with local stops in the Bronx & southern Westchester. Travel time from Grand Central to Scarborough is about one hour.

Going home after the wedding, trains also leave hourly, the last one at 1:10 am, arriving back at Grand Central in about an hour – all except the 1:10 am train make all local stops as well.

By Car

The hotel is right on Route 119, White Plains Road, easily accessed from Interstate 287 or the Saw Mill River Parkway.

The Briarcliff Manor is just off Route 9A, not far from the intersection with Route 133. If your GPS can’t get you there, we’ve added a map, below.

Hotel to Briarcliff Manor

The Briarcliff Manor is a little less than 10 miles from the hotel. However, the only way to get there is by car, Uber, Lyft, or taxi.
