Once upon a time, in the sizzling heat of a Cuban afternoon, two souls found themselves tangled in a twist of fate that would make even the best rom-coms jealous.

This is the tale of Catou and Mitch,

Picture this: the sun beating down, the salsa music pulsating through the air, and Catou and Mitch, two unsuspecting protagonists, on the brink of an adventure they never saw coming.

Catou, with her wanderlust and infectious laughter, had landed in Cuba for a bit of sun, sea, and maybe a mojito or two. Meanwhile, Mitch, a charming Canadian from Windsor, had his own reasons for gracing the streets of Santa Maria – though he probably didn't expect to meet the love of his life in the process.

But fate had other plans. A comedy of errors with hotel reservations (thanks, Dad!) led Catou to the wrong resort, where Mitch just so happened to be sipping on a Cuba Libre, blissfully unaware of the hurricane of love about to hit him.

Their eyes locked across the room, a moment frozen in time, as Catou, ever the adventurer, quipped, "Where's the party?" And with a grin that could melt glaciers, Mitch replied, "You're looking at it."

But as all good love stories go, theirs wasn't without its challenges. Living in different cities meant they had to get creative with their romance. Cue Mitch, the ultimate romantic, deciding to uproot his life in Windsor and chase after his Cuban queen in Ottawa.

And so, armed with nothing but love and a few suitcases, Mitch bid farewell to his hometown, sold his house (thanks for the boost, real estate market!), and set off on a journey to the Great White North.

But hey, love knows no borders, right? And so, despite snowstorms, language barriers, and the occasional maple syrup mishap, Catou and Mitch's love only grew stronger.

As they settled into their new life together, the adventures never stopped from roadtrips to Windsor, cruising the Mediterranean sea’s, camping every weekend in their second beloved home.
