We have tried and tested these beautiful hotels and would recommend them to any guests not staying in the accommodation at the castle. Best friend of Gary's and the first male member of the QUB Dance Squad (Despite what local podcasts are reporting). Dangerously good at dancing. On a personal mission to boogie with everyone at the wedding.

Christopher Grant

Catriona's best friend. Most likely to be the last man standing sipping whisky in a comfy chair and singing a good show tune. Watch out for the Cointreau gargles (IYKYK)

Anthony Orme

Best friend and former Dance Partner of Gary (West Side Story, 2005, St. Columb's College) Unlikely to be seen without a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in her hand.  

Bronagh McFeely

Gary's sister and Catriona's soul sister. Guaranteed to be crying tears of joy for the entirety of the wedding (the only person who may actually cry more than Gary). You'll want to be her best friend by the end of the night.

Best friend of Gary's and Owner/Proprietor of exclusive wedding bar "Scoulter's" (Etsd. 2018) . If you are feeling worn out from too much dancing ask him for the Sleepy Juice.

Because one day wedding celebrations simply aren't enough! We will be meeting in Gracies Bar in Sligo Town on Monday 26th at 3pm for the hair of the dog. We appreciate everyone travelling from far and wide to celebrate with us and hope you can make it for the second day. We'll be providing some some light bites for everyone and we hear Gracies does a mean Guinness. It's a bank holiday Monday, what else would you be at? See you there!

Day Two Celebrations

Catriona and Gary's story begins almost 10 years ago, back in December 2015 where they met in the old classic romantic way, performing in the pantomime 'Aladdin' at the Millennium Forum in Derry. A tale as old as time, Catriona was playing Princess Jasmine and Gary was of course playing, you guessed it, PC Pong. A love written in the stars really. What began as a friendship soon blossomed into a crush and Gary plucked up the courage after a few weeks to invite Catriona down to a first date in Belfast. Thus began their long distance romance between London and Belfast. Seemingly Catriona couldn't live without Gary and soon relocated to Belfast (she'll argue it was for work). Fast forward a few years (7 Gary, 7) (special mention to surviving Covid together in a one bed sixth floor apartment) and on a cold but beautiful November morning on Culdaff beach at sunrise, under the guise of going for a sea swim, Gary finally asked Catriona would she make him the luckiest duck ever and marry him. Catriona may have been nursing a gentle Guinness hangover from the night before and she may not have had her nails done, but she was overjoyed and said yes (after a longer silence than Gary was comfortable with and a lot of happy tears). The last two years has been spent all guns blazing getting ready for the big day and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
