Caycee reached out to Chase on Hinge, an online dating app. They talked on and off but Caycee waited to go on an official date until she moved back from her summer job in Hatfield to working as a SPED Para in La Crosse. Their first date was at Huck Finns on the water. Caycee brought her dog, Yogi, on the first date to avoid awkward pauses. However, that was not an issue because Chase talked non-stop the entire date.

Caycee planned a second date fishing and hiking in Jersey Valley. Things began to really click and naturally fall into place on this adventure date. (Huge fish caught by Caycee on that date.)

Yogi fell madly in love with his new best friend. Caycee and Yogi visit Chase at work from time to time. Chase is a full time firefighter for the City of La Crosse.

Chase asked Caycee to come to his Firefighter Pinning Ceremony. This was the first time she met his family. Caycee is introduced during the ceremony as "Chase's girlfriend". A surprise to her and everyone else! It wasn't till a week later that they made it official.

Caycee and Chase decided to move out of their separate apartments and into a small farmhouse together. Located in Timber Coulee, the home is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with Yogi.

Moving to the farm also involved taking care of Zeke! The Bean family donkey.

Chase planned a road trip with Caycee to Wyoming. He told her "It's going to be a life changing trip!"

Driving around the outside of Teton National Park, they found a secluded spot to go fly fishing. Chase insisted they must hike up the mountain in order to find the perfect fishing spot.

Caycee was out practicing her fly fishing skills when Chase went out to meet her. He asked her which fly he should use on his line. He opened his fly box and all Caycee saw was a gold circle! He proposed right then and there in the water! A brave move on his part to ensure the most epic surprise for her!

This will forever be a special place in our story. After he popped the question, they drove into Jackson Hole where they enjoyed Dairy Queen for dinner, swung danced at the Cowboy Bar, and sang karaoke together. It was the most perfect night of celebration.

They kept the surprise to themselves and headed home to share with family and friends!

They celebrated their love & excitement of combining families with an engagement party at the lake! Caycee and Chase will now have 9 nieces and 3 nephews! <3
