Our Wedding

Formal — dressy and classic. For men: dark suits or slacks, button-up shirts with a tie, and dress shoes. For women: floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, "little black dress," or elegant separates in moody earth tones.Comfort note: parts of the venue are outdoors on uneven ground—choose shoes accordingly.Please avoid bright colors and overly casual items (denim, sneakers, or T-shirts).We can't wait to celebrate with you on May 29th - thank you for dressing to make the evening feel special!

Amadeus Ranch is a beautiful Tuscan-style villa in the countryside in Seneca, Missouri, approximately 18 miles south of Joplin and 17 miles west of Neosho. The parking lot is gravel, but there are paved sidewalks as you enter the venue. There will be reserved parking for those who require accessibility, which is located at the lower level of the venue on the East side.

About the Venue

For out of town guests, there is no group reservation or room block code, but this is the hotel that we recommend staying at if you need accommodations.

Travel

Known as the largest continuously flowing natural waterfall in Missouri, Grand Falls is a must-stop photo op for visitors. Located on Shoal Creek just a few minutes downstream from Wildcat Park, “The Falls” plunges 12 feet down a 163-foot-wide ledge of solid chert before crashing into jagged crags and then flowing peacefully to the south.There are no facilities at the Falls. Swimming is allowed.

Grand Falls

Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center is situated next to some of the world’s last remaining chert glades, a globally unique habitat found only in this area, and the biologically rich Shoal Creek, where migratory birds and other wildlife thrive. Highlights of the Center include a 1,300-gallon aquarium that replicates an Ozark stream, nature discovery exhibits, an expansive bird-viewing area, and classrooms for community education programming. It’s also home to the Wildcat Glades Nature Store, operated by Wildcat Glades Friends Group. Open Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday and all state holidays. Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk.

Schoal Creek Conservation Education Center

There are many things to see and do at George Washington Carver National Monument. Whether you have half an hour or half a day, visit us and experience the history and beauty of the park. The park is the birthplace and childhood home of the famed scientist, educator, and humanitarian. Established in 1943, it is the first unit of the National Park Service dedicated to an African American. The visitor center has information, a museum, interactive exhibits about history and science, classrooms for programs on George Washington Carver’s life, an observation deck, a 26-minute film entitled, Struggle and Triumph The Legacy of George Washington Carver, and park store. The one-mile, self-guiding loop leads you into the woodlands, across streams, and along a tallgrass prairie restoration area. You can see the birth site of George Washington Carver, the Boy Carver Statue, the 1881 Moses Carver house, and graves of Moses and Susan Carver (George Washington Carver is buried at Tuskegee University in Alabama). Guided Tours of the Carver trail are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The ranger-led guided tour of the Carver trail interprets the childhood and life of George Washington Carver. Allow one hour and 15 minutes for the guided tour. Tours begin at the visitor center.

George Washington Carver National Monument

Established in 1888, Neosho National Fish Hatchery is the oldest continuously operational federal fish hatchery raising fish today. We raise rainbow trout for release in Lake Taneycomo, and also produce endangered species to achieve recovery goals. Visitors to Neosho National Fish Hatchery can view exhibits in the visitor center during open hours. This includes exhibits on the history of the fish hatchery and an aquarium containing native fish. Visitors are encouraged to walk the 1/3 mile loop around the grounds and look at fish in the ponds and raceways.
