Taylor (maid of honor) invites Cayla on her coworker Cameron's (groomsmen) ski trip to Bridger Bowl, Montana. Cayla and Kevin meet during this trip. They never anticipated to see each other again after this weekend.

Cayla and Kevin run into each other at Anytime Fitness in Owatonna, MN. Now this is where the story gets cool! Shortly after the ski trip in Montana, Cayla accepted a job as a family medicine physician assistant at Mayo Clinic in Owatonna, MN. About a year later Kevin began training with Federated Insurance also located in Owatonna, MN. In the midst of COVID with required masks at the gym, Cayla and Kevin both have stories of seeing each other at the gym. Kevin took to the snapchat map after the gym and saw Cayla's bitmoji in Owatonna! The next morning Cayla woke up with a Snap message from Kevin Carr!

Back where it all began, Kevin & Cayla revisit the first place they met at Bridger Bowl in Montana. Cayla was hopeful for a proposal, how cute would that have been? However, the weekend was "dibsed" and spent celebrating the proposal of Cameron and Kenna Osmondson!

Much to the anticipation of Cayla (and Pamela Witte) Kevin pulled off a surprise proposal at Carson's Bay Landing at Lake Minnetonka. The same place Cayla's parents got engaged! She said YES!!
