Where it all began…

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

God directed my path straight into the arms of the love of my life. Ethan and I met at The Hills Church in the young adult group. I was currently dating someone else at the time, however God had another plan for my life and his name was Ethan. Ethan would tell you he had a secret crush on me the minute he saw me. I would tell you the first time I really noticed Ethan was playing one of my favorite games Ticket to Ride with him and some other friends. Let me start from the beginning of our sweet relationship that only God could orchestrate. We both happened to be with our church group at Chicken N Pickle. Let me say Ethan is pretty shy if he does not know you well, but he asked me a question that I thought was a little funny. He asked what church do you go to, I said why. In my mind I was thinking why is he asking me that when we are in the same church group. But it was my sweet fiancé way of just wanting to talk to me so that just maybe I would notice him. Ethan tried many ways of getting my attention so he could get my phone number. Ethan invited me to another event and we ended up changing the plans and going bowling. He paid for everyone to play including me. I was able to get his number through GroupMe so I could pay him back for my game. This was his first opportunity to get my number without him asking for it. A few days after our bowling game Ethan called me as I was going to work and let’s say the rest is history. We have had so much fun together. We love going to the Texas Rangers games, we love going to the movies even though I will fall asleep sometimes. Ethan rented a plane and he flew us to Austin which was so much fun. On May 30 at 12:34, I officially became Ethan’s girlfriend and on April 24, 2025 I will officially become his wife. I could not have ever imagined that God would bless me with such a wonderful, caring, sweet, generous and loving husband. All I can say is the best is yet to come and I praise God for his divine intervention. I love you Ethan and always will.
