Caylin and Sam first met in the study area of Lowder Hall, the business building at Auburn. Sam walked in and immediately was drawn to Caylin. They began to talk and started to sit with one another in the only class they would ever have together, marketing. The few minutes before and
after class were amazing for them, suddenly 2:00 marketing was the highlight of the day.
Their first date was a random Mexican restaurant neither of them had been to, followed by playing pickleball on a make-shift court on top of a parking deck in downtown Auburn. They spent the rest of the night talking in the back of Sam’s truck and the night was just perfect. From then on, there was never a moment they didn’t want to be together.
In time, he proposed at the Seaside Chapel, one of her favorite places and the spot where they will soon be married. The celebration that followed, surrounded by both of their families, was one of the most joyful evenings of their lives.
Together, they feel deeply blessed and grateful to have found a partner to love, to laugh with, and to glorify the Lord beside for the rest of their days. Their relationship is rooted in their faith and they love each other because of how Jesus loves them.
