At Texas Tech University, we both pledge to the service organization Alpha Phi Omega (APO) -- Brian doesn't remember us meeting later that night at dinner

We both play flag football for APO and Brian is very impressed by Cecelia catching one of our only touchdowns of the season

We become closer friends

And even closer friends

Brian and I both become pledge trainers for APO, so get to spend more time together

And then, Brian asks Cecelia to be his girlfriend at Chili's (much more awkwardly than this stock photo)

Cecelia posts this picture and our relationship goes ~public~ 1 person asks Cecelia if their dating, 3 ask Brian, 15 ask our friends.

Brian visits Las Cruces for Spring break and meets the parents

We spend the summer apart, but Brian flies up to Seattle for a weekend to explore the city

Celia drops of out college and we go on a cruise to celebrate

Before Celia moves to Oregon and long distance begins, we enjoy some time together and take several trips

Apart for a semester, we are reunited for winter break for Alec's elopement + the holidays

Brian visits Oregon for Spring Break, Covid shutdowns hit

After a year of long distance, we finally move in together in Oregon

Glad that the distance is over and enjoying life in Oregon

Going on adventures

Fall in love with hiking

And go on lots...

and lots...

and lots of hikes

And travel when we can (Boston, MA)

And we're engaged! (this was my own graduation photoshoot because I was hoping for fall leaves & orange colors. Brian did not tell the photographer beforehand but she did great to catch the moment)

But we can't plan a wedding yet, we've got to take our time (with more hiking, of course)

Finally Celia graduates to become a doctor

We buy a house, move to Virginia, and start the next chapter of our lives

And now that we're settled in...

We're excited to be planning our wedding and hosting our closest friends and family to celebrate with us!
