One cold wintery night, Charles invited Celia to meet him in a dark alley (to go to Volstead's). Turns out that bar was closed for a private event and so were the next three they tried. But eventually, they made it to Bryant-Lake Bowl and chatted the night away.

The martinis here are worth the journey to the Upper East Side. Celia's favorite is the Bobby's Manhattan and Charles loves the Jackie O.

Bemelmans Bar

Who doesn't love a good burger? And JG Melon has one of the best in the city. Be warned: it's cash only.

You can't beat brunch at Bubby's! This place has fantastic pancakes and Bloody Marys. It's walk-ins only on the weekend, but if you swing by on a weekday, make a reservation and you'll walk right in.

This is a great restaurant with two locations: Cobble Hill and UES. The malfouf, muhammarah, and maklouba are our go-tos. If you're looking for dessert, the kanafe is divine.

al Badawi

The Poster House is one of our favorite museums. It's dedicated to showcasing the impact, culture and design of posters from a historical and visual communication lens. They always have an interesting exhibition going on, and it's free on Fridays.

Whether you're a train buff or not, the Transit Museum is a fun spot to visit. They tell the history of how public transportation was established and has changed over the years, and they have real trains that you can go into.

ACCESSING THE ROOFThe ceremony and reception will take place on the roof. To get there:- Follow the sidewalk along the parking lot, enter at the last sliding doors (under the “Liberty Brooklyn” sign).- Elevators to the roof are just inside the front door, immediately to your left.- Follow signs or staff guidance to your event. SHUTTLEA shuttle will be provided for those staying at the hotel and will be taking people to/from the venue at set times. If you decide to leave outside of those times, it is ON YOU to find a way back (cab/public transportation). PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONIf arriving by public transportation, here are the best stations/stops:-SUBWAY: D R N to 36th St (on 4th Ave) (10 min walk)-BUS: B37 to 3 Ave/29 St (3 min walk) RIDE SHAREIf you are opting to use a ride share app, we recommend Curb, Uber or Lyft. PARKINGIf you are taking your own car (not recommended), here are the best parking directions:-If you choose to drive, we recommend allowing 10 extra minutes to find parking.-Street parking is available in the neighborhood, metered parking under the BQE along 3rd Avenue, and a parking lot operated by Industry City is located on 2nd Avenue (between 31st Street and 32nd Street) called "Lot B" ($15, cars may enter between 7am-11pm and the gate arm is operable for later departures).&nbsp;
