Our Wedding

Long Story Short!The important thing is that we met. We slowly became friends over the course a year. Ironically, during this time, we could not even imagine dating! We both prayed a lot, laughed a lot, and ultimately fell madly in love... thank you God! After a 1.5 months of dating we knew we were going to get married. Then, after 1.5 years, Aidan proposed to Cecelia with a beautiful Milwaukee sunrise in the background. Cecelia was so excited, she almost slapped the ring into the lake! No need to worry, not a single person was drenched during the proposal. Now, here we are, and we are so excited to get married after 4 years of friendship and 2.5 years of dating! Cheers to many more years of friendship and companionship.

In the heart of the Historic Third Ward, near many of our favorite restaurants and shopping spots in downtown Milwaukee, the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel offers swanky lounges and is truly a taste of Milwaukee. If you have a chance, go up to the roof-top bar at night for a cozy drink by a fire.

Orange and Black do not represent Halloween, even in this time of year... they represent Harley-Davidson! The iconic motorcycle company in America was founded and headquartered here in Milwaukee. We definitely recommend reserving a tour spot.

Definitely recommend a reservation well in advance for this one, and budget a few hours for a romantic evening over wine and personalized candle making! The friendly staff will walk you through the steps of making a candle that is uniquely yours (if you attend, be sure to send your regards to Rachel, one of Cecelia's maids of honor).

We love this place! They have great food and will offer an incredible Irish-Milwaukee evening. Be warned, if you go at night, it might be noisy from a local band. This is also the location of where Aidan made his first move on Cecelia, in front of his mother, no less!

A little out of the way, but a cheap UberEats. We love this for a good old college take out. Get the mild chicken biryani and an order of samosas. Made with fresh herbs and spices without a deep-fried feeling, Cafe India is hands down the best $15 you will ever spend. Did we mention the portion size, too!?

As of now, only family is allowed into the church for the ceremony. We are limited to 100 people and we also must accommodate the Church staff.

If you are invited to the reception only, know that we are sad we could not invite you to the wedding, it is out of our control. Our wedding Mass will be live streamed, so please pray with us during that time! Please do join us for drinks, dinner, and a dance at the reception. Updates to come with a link.
