Cecil's Version:&nbsp; I wasn't sure if she was on a date or not but I asked her to dance anyway. After she went back to her seat, I noticed an empty chair between her and "her date". I decided she wasn't on a date and made myself comfortable. The rest is her-story.... Peaches' Version: Cecil and I met at a 20 Gents Super Bowl party.&nbsp;Cecil asked me to dance.&nbsp;Once we were finished dancing, he walked me back to my table.&nbsp;He then came with all his belongings to my table.&nbsp;After the party, Cecil walked me to my car and now we are uniting as ONE.💜

Our Story

Miya Johnson-Sister/cousin of Katrina.&nbsp;Growing up as cousins, Miya and Katrina were always mistaken&nbsp;as sisters.&nbsp;Miya finds it fitting to join Katrina and Cecil in this adventure. Janay Hamilton-Daughter of Katrina and Dwight.&nbsp;Janay is the bride's only biological daughter.&nbsp;Janay is honored to celebrate Katrina and Cecil's special day.&nbsp;Fun Fact:&nbsp;Janay always gives Katrina fashion advice.:) Angela Stephens-Sister/friend of Katrina.&nbsp;Their friendship was no accident many years ago.&nbsp;They have remained inseparable.&nbsp;Angela is excited to share this moment with Katrina and Cecil. Eric Sourie - Son of Cecil &amp; Shelor. The groom's only child who has embraced Katrina and is grateful for his dad and Katrina's new life together. Michael Sourie - Brother of Cecil. They are inseparable and the epitome of brotherhood. He will always stand with his brother.

What is the dress code for the wedding?Cocktail Is there a registry? The most important gift you can give us is that of your presence on such an important day in our lives. If you would like to purchase a gift, our registry is included as a tab here on our wedding website. PLUS ONES AND CHILDREN - Am I allowed to bring a guest?We respectfully ask that you not bring uninvited guests. Space is limited so we kindly ask you to note the names listed on your invitation to determine invited guests. Although we would like to invite everyone, the size of our venue simply does not allow us to accommodate more guests. Are children allowed to attend the ceremony/reception? We love you and your children, but we have designed a wedding weekend that is most suitable for adult guests. Thank you for honoring our wishes and not bringing children. We look forward to celebrating with you. RSVP - How do I confirm my attendance?We've chosen a more sustainable invitation and RSVP process, so you don't have to worry about mailing a response card and we don't have to worry with things being lost or delayed via mail. Invited guests may RSVP by using the link on our website. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS - Have you negotiated special hotel discounts for your guests?Yes, for the convenience of our out-of-town guests, we have rooms blocks reserved at a couple of hotels. The celebration continues .... We have decided to include family and friends in our Dominican Republic honeymoon taking place August 12-17, 2025. We will share additional details with those who would like to travel with us and experience the relaxing all-inclusive resort in sunny DR. In the RSVP tab, you may RSVP for the wedding events. Simply go to the RSVP tab and type in your name, then select "Find your invitation". You may then RSVP for you and other invited guests in your party. Just after that section, you may RSVP for the honeymoon. If you RSVP affirmatively for the honeymoon, we will send you information on how to reserve your travel with our group.

Honeymoon, anyone?

As we considered dates for our wedding day, we wanted to ensure our families were involved as family is important to us. In particular, we chose the date to honor Cecil's sister, Beverleigh who passed away last year. Bev's birthday is August 9; she was supportive of us and everyone in our family so it is a privilege to include her in this special day.
