Jill is Cece’s younger sister. Despite being five years apart, people constantly ask if they’re twins—must be the matching laughs and shared love of all things. These two are true birds of a feather. If you spot them in the wild, they’re probably doing pilates. Jill is a loyal sidekick in all of Cece’s birdwatching adventures, even when she has no clue what she’s supposed to be looking for.

Connor and Peter met at the beginning of 9th grade at Ben Franklin over and awkard hand shake at picture day and a recognition of soccer as the superior sport in P.E. Ever since then they have been best friends and able to count on one another for anything. They are very excited to be living near one another as Connor attends the University of Tennessee for grad school so they can continue their trek on the Appalachian Trail together

Ayessa and Cece have been friends since 6th grade, when Ayessa moved to a new school and Cece gave her a campus tour. They've been inseparable ever since—well, emotionally inseparable, even if they're now living on opposite coasts (Ayessa in California, Cece on the East Coast). Despite the distance, every phone call picks up right where the last one left off. They also share a bond over their nursing careers and love sharing stories from their shifts

Connor met Hunter as a Plebe at the Naval Academy in Jun of 2017. They instantly connected as they both enjoyed working out, avoiding home work and learning about Roman/Medieval history. As time has passed they enjoy sharing their interest in space and the great outdoors. They look forward to many adventures fly fishing and hiking the great mountains out west in the future.

Amy is Cece’s aunt and has always played a big role in her life. She’s Cece’s go to for advice, encouragement, and the best book recommendations (she has almost 900 books logged on Good Reads). Some of their favorite traditions include spontaneous Starbucks runs and long strolls through Barnes & Noble. Cece also loves spending time with Amy’s family—especially for game nights. Amy’s sweet children, Lily and Jonah, will also have special roles in the wedding, making the celebration even more meaningful.

Connor met Jacob in 2017 when he started school at the Naval Academy and Cece's family became his sponsors. Over the years they have bonded for their love of Legos and random history facts. Connor looks forward to serving with his brother-in-law in the armed forces together as they protect those who are near to both of their families.

Lauren and Cece first met back in high school working at Naval Academy Midshipmen Store. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories: cheering at football games, wandering the streets of downtown Annapolis, and soaking up sunny days on the Chesapeake Bay. One of their favorite treats is a Poptart from Iron Rooster. Their friendship has always been filled with fun moments and shared experiences, and Cece can not imagine getting married without her help!

Bekah is Cece’s soon-to-be sister-in-law, and they first met in high school when her family visited the Travis family in New Orleans to make gingerbread houses. Since then, Cece and Bekah have spent countless holidays together, with Bekah always making her feel welcomed as part of the family. One of Connor and Bekah’s favorite stories to share is how, as kids, they would mischievously look at each other and then dash to opposite sides of the grocery store just to drive their mom crazy. Cece is excited to officially join their family and create even more memories with them.

Lilly is Cece's cousin! She is a truly amazing girl and we can't wait to share our big day with her.

Jonah is Lilly's big brother and ring bearer extraordinaire. This is his second time as a ring bearer and we know he is perfect for the job.
