We ask that you wear cocktail attire such as a cocktail dress, dressy separates, jumpsuit, or suit and tie.

Fall in the northern Georgia mountains is very comfortable with a high of 71-81 deg F and low of 52-60 deg F. A light jacket is recommended in the evening hours.

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Summit Farm. The ceremony will be held outside, weather-permitting, and the reception will held in the barn. The barn can be temperature controlled if necessary.

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

We are keeping our special day as an adult-only occasion (21+). While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Downtown Ellijay has a few hotels that we recommend that are approximately 15-20 minutes away from the venue. There are also some wonderful cabins around the area for rent. Please check out the travel page for more information. If you choose to stay in a cabin, please book asap as the fall season is popular in the mountain areas.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL) is approximately 90 miles from the venue and Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) in TN is approximately 75 miles from the venue. CHA is a much smaller airport than ATL.

We invite you to be truly present with us during our unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony concludes. During the cocktail hour and reception, we would love for you to take all the photos & videos.

Yes! There is a gravel parking lot at the venue for parking.

Summit Farm does not allow any liquor on their property. Please do not bring any outside drinks. There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and reception for beer, wine, seltzer, and champagne. The bar will close at 8:30pm for safety and liability reasons.
