In 2008, we met in Super Cool Kids Church where our formal introduction was Josiah kicking a dodge ball directly into Cecily's face. Needless to say, it was romantic from the start.

In late August of 2022, Josiah was interested in asking Cecily out, so he schemed a "Board Game Night" where he got to talk to Cecily for several hours to see if there was a common interest in one another. And to his surprise, she was VERY interested.

So for an entire week, they hung out nearly every day and on September 9th, 2022 Josiah asked her out. Cecily was stunned but said yes!

Their first date was dinner at Fushi Poke on Orange Street in Sarasota and a walk around Marina Jack Park where they talked for serval hours on a bench that became "their bench". (Remember that park for later)

On May 22nd, 2023 Josiah brought Cecily to their favorite park, Marina Jack. (Told you you'd want to remember it.) Josiah prepared a breakfast where they had a picnic under the mighty banyan tress. And after he finally got the nerves, he surprised her with the biggest question of both their lives, "Will you marry me?"

With much tears of joy, she said yes and they enjoyed the rest of the day looking for what they want in their future home and celebrated with family and friends.
