We love kiddos, but due to the formality and timeline of our wedding, we ask that no kids attend. We hope you can enjoy a night out with us!

Unfortunately, due to budget, we simply cannot afford for all our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Please do not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Please reach out if you have any questions! Thank you for your understanding

BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport is 50 minutes from our wedding venue! Harrisburg International Airport is 1 hour 10 minutes away, IAD Washington Dulles International Airport is 1 hour 35 minutes away and DCA Ronald Reagan National Airport is 1 hour 27 minutes away.

Unfortunately, we will not be providing transport from the hotels to the venue, so please plan accordingly (rental car, carpooling, etc)

Towns within reasonable driving distances from our venue are Westminster MD, Hanover PA, & Gettysburg PA. Please feel free to search out Air BnB's and other hotels within your budget!

An unplugged ceremony allows all guests to pay their full attention to the ceremony and the bride and groom. Only the photographer will be the one capturing the pictures. Thank you for understanding

Parking, ceremony, and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will be held inside the barn.

Since we are nearing the end of summer, August can be hot during the day but drop to lower temperatures as night approaches. Feel free to bring layers that compliment our dress code!

Our dress code is semi-formal/ dressy casual. Since our wedding is held during the summer, lighter colors are preferred. Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit. Since our ceremony and cocktail hour are held outside, wedges are preferred, but please wear any nice shoes that you feel most comfortable in. Men can wear a nice button up and jeans, with or without a sports coat. (Jansen says for the men, hats are more than welcomed during the reception!)
