Both the ceremony & reception will be at The Ballroom at the Charleston located at 900 Ryan Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601.

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm and the reception will follow right after.

The wedding will take place indoors. The venue does offer a covered smoking area outside!

There is no specific dress code, however, we ask that you dress with the usual "wedding attire."

There will not be a cocktail hour. The reception will have chacuterie & several appetizers. Main entrees are brisket & chicken and sausage jambalaya.

Unlimited beer and wine will be available on behalf of the bride and groom. Liquor & mixers will be available for cash/card purchase.

Yes! Our venue does offer parking on the south side of the building.

The reception will end at 10 pm. There will be no official after-party, however we will be attending Blue Martini at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino following the reception!

Yes, kids are allowed, but you will be responsible for them as there is no babysitter provided.

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #MartinDownTheAisle so we can see them, too!
