In early 2020, while the world slowed down, Steve and Celena's story began.

Steve, newly settled in California with a job at Apple, and Celena, just starting at Lockheed Martin, were both navigating life under strict Covid restrictions. Socializing was tough, so Celena, browsing Hinge one night, noticed Steve’s profile with a dolphin and commented “Sea Doggos” on his photo.

Steve was instantly smitten and knew Celena was the one for him. As Covid lockdowns began, they opted for a Zoom dinner date. To avoid eating on camera, Steve ate beforehand, but didn’t mention it, so Celena ended up eating while Steve watched. Despite this, their date was a success, leading to frequent weekend meetups and deepening their bond.

On August 15, they celebrated a milestone by Steve asking Celena to be his girlfriend over an Italian dinner—a date that would later become their wedding date. After years of growing closer and Steve proposing at Huntington Gardens in August 2023, following a trip to South Korea. Celena proceeded to disappear for work herself a few months after, and the engagement has been well-characterized by both Steve and Celena rarely being home...that is, until the latest family member was added.

On Sunday May 19, Baylee was rescued from the shelter. Celena and Steve were overjoyed to add a fury friend to the future Greco family, and she has become a fan favorite among friends and family. She didn't receive a wedding invite, but in exchange is occupying nearly a terabyte of iCloud storage from the hundreds of pictures Celena and Steve take of her every day.

Celena and Steve are eagerly preparing for their wedding next year in California. Despite their busy schedules, their love has only grown stronger, and they are so excited to share this special celebration with all of you!
