When do I need to RSVP by?
The sooner the better. I will need total head counts by December 15th to give to my vendors.
What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?
I would try at least 15 minutes before as we will try to start on time at 11:00am (Assuming the bride will be on time for once LOL). If by chance you get there after 11:00am, please wait until the full wedding party has walked down the aisle then you may proceed to find a seat or stand in the back.
Best advice to get to the venue?
I recommend you download "offline maps" before heading on the road. The cellphone service can get spotty the closer you arrive and you may lose connection to your GPS app. Also, we were told by the venue that sometimes your GPS app will take you down the back roads to the venue. There are no back roads to get there. The most important part of the directions are driving on TX-19 then turn on Rs County Rd 3425 to get to the venue.
Will kids be allowed to attend?
Yes, kids will be allowed to attend. However, they do need to be supervised, as any other venue, to avoid them getting hurt. The venue has stairs and a second floor that guests can be seated at.
What are the colors of the wedding?
Purple, Black, Green, Champagne
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both if weather permits. We plan on an outdoor ceremony then do reception inside. If there is rain, or if the temperature is freezing cold, we will do the ceremony inside the venue.
Can I bring a plus one?
If noted on the invite, yes. I will add "Person's name and Family or Person's name and Plus One". The way I have RSVPs set up is one person will RSVP and there is an option to add guest(s). I have already accounted the number of guests for different households if there are any spouses and kids. A lot of "Plus ones" will be for households of one person.
Will there be alcohol?
No. We will be having a "dry" wedding, Due to the time and how far the wedding will take place, it would not benefit us, or anyone, to serve alcohol. The venue does NOT allow BYOB either.
Will there be wedding updates posted anywhere?
Yes. Please follow this link to our Facebook event and we will provide all the updates there.
Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?
At the ceremony, we will give chances for you to take your phone out and take photos. However, we love for our photographer and videographer to take shots of everything during the rest of the ceremony without someone's phone in the way. For the reception, feel free to take as many photos.
Will there be cell phone service at the venue?
Depending on your carrier, chances are you may have difficulties getting cell phone service. However, the venue does have Wi-Fi available that you can connect to.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. There will also be staff to direct you to parking.
