how to write a story that has yet to have its ending? well i guess you can only just share the beginning, something i (celtin) have been tasked to do from my beautiful bride (lexi). it all began many long months ago in the fall of ‘24. celt began to develop (from a distance) a crush on lex. she was obviously beautiful &amp; definitely out of his league, but he couldn’t help the growing affection. so after a long wait, a flirty youth retreat, &amp; a few weeks of wondering if lex had similar interest, celtin asked lexi out on a date in the church parking lot … so romantic right?! well, lex said yes, &amp; a few weeks later they would be going on their first date to a winter market &amp; case study coffee. though the weather outside was gloomy, the growing love within was anything but. smiles, laughs, joy, &amp; goodness would be the melody that reverberated from their conversation. a conversation that grew on from that evening. there became even longer chats after church, longer text message bubbles (well, the long texts had been going for a while by this point), longer moments of lingering in each other's presence, &amp; longer time between hangouts (or at least what the hours felt like). through many &amp; many more dates (&amp; becoming official in a tj’s parking lot), celt &amp; lex’s love began to grow quietly, until it was announced into existence at a winter retreat youth camp. celt declared his love for lex, &amp; she declared it back… can i get an amen!! the cat was now out of the bag, &amp; the world would begin to watch their love story truly unfold. amidst the trips around the country (&amp; the world), mini golf, in &amp; out, axe throwing, drive in, pumpkin patch, seahawks game, &amp; all the glamorous things in between, it was the quiet, simple moments in which celt &amp; lex’s love grew. the moments that seemed unextraordinary, but silently beautiful. unassuming to the world, but defiantly special to them. moments of little walks, cuddles on the couch, grace amidst hard conversations, always holding hands during church, &amp; smiling when the other person cracked a lame joke. these moments defined the growing love, one that has now been cemented in life long commitment with the proposal (&amp; the saying of “yes” by lex) in the columbia river gorge on september 20th, 2025. this marks only the beginning of the first chapter the Lord is writing in the story of celtin &amp; lexi, &amp; they would love to see you join them as they begin another on march 14th 2026. you don’t want to miss how this chapter begins.
