My name is Zach Raso and I am the officiant for this extraordinary couples’ special day! I came to know Cesar back in the fall of 2021 when I started a new job at Babson College. I moved to Wellesley to become the Area Coordinator for the Lower Campus. Cesar happened to be the longest tenured Area Coordinator at the time and made it a point from day one to help me acclimate to campus and the role. I could not have gotten through my first year without Cesar! After a few weeks I quickly met Mike and we would all get together to have drinks or dinner countless times over the next year. I cannot think of many days during that academic year where I did not see Cesar or Mike! They both bring the best out of each other and their humor together is unmatched. Fast forward almost a year, Mike and Cesar took me out to breakfast one morning and.... BOOM they surprised me with the proposal to become their officiant. I could not think of a more amazing couple to marry, so here we are!

Hello everyone, my name is Jeff, and I am one of Mike's brothers. Mike and I spent our childhood getting into some trouble. One day we sneaked on the USS Massachusetts without paying, which resulted in us being thrown off the ship. Another time, we set an abandoned bar on fire where Mike lost one of his sneakers and lied to our father saying he lost the sneaker in the tall grass behind the house. If we weren't causing trouble together, then we were fighting one another. Like the times I split his head open, or nearly made Mike blind by splashing Old Spice all over him and of course it went in his eyes causing him to be in an eye patch for over a week. However, through our crazy childhood experiences, we have created an unbreakable friendship full of support and encouragement. Mike first introduced me to Cesar in 2019 and since then I have seen them accomplish great things like achieving their master's degrees and being promoted in their careers. I see that Mike and Cesar bring out the best in one another and I am happy to be part of this monumental day!

Hello! I first met Cesar and Mike when I became Cesar’s Assistant Area Coordinator in 2022. At first, I was a bit shy, but everything changed when I met Cesar and Mike’s dog, Appa. Appa greeted me with so much joy and craziness that I couldn’t help but feel at ease. It was like Appa's joyful energy mirrored Cesar’s. Since then, I have loved getting to know Cesar and Mike, and I’m excited for all the adventures the future holds for them!

Hello! My name is Vanessa Mendonca. I met Cesar my freshman year of high school, we became very close all through high school and ended up going to prom together where Cesar won prom king and I did not win prom queen, awkward I know! But when I found out that Cesar and Mike were together I couldn’t wait to meet him and when I did I could see how happy Cesar was and could see why Cesar and him matched so perfectly. I am so happy that Cesar has finally found his person and am so thankful to be a part of this special day. I love you both and wish you the happiest future!

Hey, I’m Brittney! I met Cesar in the summer of 2016 when I first went to visit the infamous Newbury College. Cesar was one of my orientation leaders and eventually RA. Even though Cesar was hesitant to be friends with me, I knew that we would have a chaotic yet iconic friendship, and I was correct. Years later I was introduced to Mike and from the start I could tell how much Michael complimented Cesar’s personality. They are the visual representation on ying and yang. And, Mike has always been able to match the silly goofy chaotic energy, which was another sign that he was destined to be with Cesar. It has been honor to see their relationship grow throughout the years and I couldn’t be more happy to see them find each other’s person. I love you both, and congratulations.

Hello! My name is Justin Evans. Michael and I first met in January of 2000. We were stationed together on our first ship in the Navy, USS Gonzalez DDG-66. We deployed overseas twice together and went on a lot of adventures. They mostly involve Mike keeping me out of trouble! Feel free to ask either of us after a few drinks! I’m lucky to have him in my life. Even though we don’t live close in proximity we have remained close to one another. Hello, I’m the other Michael, not the groom! I met Cesar when I first started at Babson. We quickly hit it off as we shared a love for people watching and food. Cesar helped me feel at home at Babson very quickly. It was soon after that I met Mike on a lunch trip one afternoon, and I noticed the incredible bond Mike and Cesar shared. I wish nothing but happiness and fortune to Mike and Cesar as they venture into this next chapter of their already well-told story.

Hola a todos! Cesar and I met three years ago when I started my journey at Babson. Over the past three years, I’ve learned so much about him—mostly that he's a master at blending sass with humor and sweetness. We've shared countless special moments together, including endless chats filled with chisme, special life events, and stories about his dogs, as well as the privilege of being included in his yearly family potlucks—those Salvadoran sandwiches, though! I am so honored to be a part of Cesar and Mike’s special day, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone by doing our special ritual, “para arriba, para abajo, para el centro, y para adentro!” 🥂🫶🏼

Hello, I’m Kaitlyn! I met Cesar in the fall of 2021 when I joined the Babson College team. The first day on the job I went to pub night on campus, met Appa and Mike for the first time, and from there a new Wednesday night tradition was made. I admire and share Cesar and Mike’s love of travel and good food. Cesar is my culinary muse, often trying to recreate whatever Cesar has made for the group. Although I have never known Cesar without Mike, it's so wonderful to see two people so clearly meant for each other. I’m so thankful to both Cesar and Mike for their friendship through the rollercoaster of life. I expect there will never be a dull moment with these two and the family they are building together. Hi everyone, I’m Brandon! Cesar was my direct RA in college back in 2016 and he has helped me become the person I am today. I am thankful for everything that he has taught me and helping me grow as a person! Without him in my life, who knows how life would have turned out. Cesar has helped me through my lowest lows in life, shown me how to be a better person, and ultimately has provided endless support whether we see each other everyday or are a phone call away.
