Cetera and Kevin first met at Poudre High School in band class. Kevin was a senior and Cetera was a junior. He had asked her for a ride to a football game where they both would be playing instruments in the pep band. Kevin played the trumpet and Cetera played the flute. On October 13th, 2012, Kevin messaged Cetera on Facebook asking her to hang out. Their hang out included fishing at City Park lake with friends, dinner at Fuzzy's Taco Shop, and a movie called Premium Rush. Cetera thought it was fun but didn't think it was a date. When Kevin and friends dropped her off at home, he walked her to the front door. He hugged her and then asked if she would be his girlfriend. Completely surprised, Cetera said yes and then they kissed! Little did they know, they would date for the next decade and get engaged around their 10 year anniversary.
