Chad and Allison met on a dating app after Allison liked this picture of Chad and Chad commented on Allison's story of getting hit by lightning!

They quickly learned that the share many values and interests. They both love the outdoors, which is what brought them to Starved Rock State Park on one of their first dates.

With a paper map from 1972 that had been Allison's grandmother's, they jumped in the car and drove to a piece of property in northern Michigan that has been in Allison's family for decades but she had never seen. They learned that they both love adventures!

One of Chad's first gifts to Allison was installing a new garage door opener!

They both love service and helping others...
