If you are looking for another great option to fly into it, it's Missoula International Airport. The drive is absolutley beautiful, and it's about a 2 hour drive up to Whitefish!

There are a great deal of camping option in the area of our wedding! This site will help you look for campgrounds, and make reservations online. The nearest campground to the venue is Talley Lake Campground (5mi from venue). You are also welcome to camp out the night of the wedding on the venue peoperty!

Exploring Whitefish

Glacier National Parks is in our opinion one of the most beautiful National Parks that our country has! It is definitely a spot we recommend you visit! There is an entrance fee to get into the park. We recommend you get there early due to the increased visitation during the summer season. Please note that Glacier National Park has instituted Ticketed Entry This Summer! "Day-use visitors who arrive by private vehicle or motorcycle and enter the West and St, Mary Entrances, or via the Camas Road, between 6 am and 5 pm MDT must have a $2.00 Entry Reservation Ticket. Entry Reservation Tickets are valid for seven consecutive days per vehicle. They may be used anytime within that seven day period." "Entry Reservation Tickets are limited. Approximately 3/4 of the Entry Reservation Tickets will be available up to 60 days in advance with the remaining 1/4 of Entry Reservation Tickets being released two days in advance. Prior to the full opening of the Going-to-the-Sun Road there will be fewer tickets available each day. Entry Reservation Tickets can be secured at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.recreation.gov/search?q=Glacier%20National%20Park&amp;entity_id=2725&amp;entity_type=recarea" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">www.recreation.gov</a>&nbsp;beginning at 8 am MDT on April 29, 2021."

Northern Montana is truly a magical place! We highly recommend you get out and explore! Recreaction.gov is another awesome resource for you to discover recreation opportunities on public lands (which there is a lot of near the wedding venue). This website/app not only allows you to search different recreation opportunities, but it also allows you to book campsites/lodging, apply for permits, and pay any fees associated with you experience! Definitely check it out!

Public Land Recreation

This area, and the surrounding areas is absolutely beautiful for hiking and recreating outdoors! This website/app is one that we utilize all the time for our hiking adventures. AllTrails allows you to choose a location, and filter through different hiking trails in your search area. It allows you to see the difficulty level, things to see on the trail, a GPS route, and much more! We encourage you to use this app to help plan your hiking excursion!

1. Virtual CeremonyWe will be providing coverage of the ceremony on our website for the guests who will not be able to attend in person (stay tuned for updates on our website). We know that it may be difficult to attend and we want to be able to share our day with the people who will not be able to join us. We love and appreciate you just the same if you cannot make the wedding in person! 2. VenueWe are happy to report the venue is entirely outside (with exception to the restrooms, but these are single capacity only) and spread over a 20 acre area! The ceremony will be in the forest on the property, cocktail hour will be near the pond, and the reception will be under a pavilion. We will also be offering seating areas that allow for social distancing. 3. ActivitiesWe will be having quite a bit of fun activities such as cocktail hour, lawn games, photo booth, getting boogie on the dance floor, and more! ALL of these activities will be spaced apart from one another, and guest are free to roam the venue at their leisure. The snacks offered will be individually wrapped to prevent unnecessary gathering, and touching of goodies. 4. Spread Love StationsWe will have multiple stations that will provide hand sanitizer, masks, and comfort identification pins. We hope that having these stations will allows us to spread the love and not the germs! 5. Comfort Identification PinsWe will be providing pins for the guests to wear that can visually express their comfort level with interacting in social settings. Having these pins visible will help the other guests to be respectful of each other’s comfort levels without having to ask. 6. Encouragement for Safe Hygiene PracticesWe will be encouraging our guests to take the appropriate precautions and the recommended health practices provided by the CDC prior to attending the wedding, and at the event. We will never make anyone do anything they are not comfortable with, but we encourage our guests to think about the other loved ones that will be attending. We love you all and want to make sure everyone stays as safe and healthy! 7. Staying InformedWe know the pandemic is a very fluid situation and is very hard to predict. There is a great deal of hope with the increased availability of the COVID-19 vaccine and knowledge of the virus. We will be staying informed on health practices and guidelines and will inform you on any changes that affect travel or the wedding. The above mitigations may change as we get closer to the wedding date. *Feel free to reach out with concerns or suggestions to better provide a safe event for our guest!*
