Set Reminder Now
Dear Family and Friends,
"If I forget thee, O Jerusalem..." (Psalm 137)
For thousands of years, each and every day in our prayers, we yearn for Jerusalem. We dream of Jerusalem. We pray for Jerusalem.
The Prophet Jeremiah said "Od Yeshama B'orei Yehudah U'bechutzos Yerushalayim, Kol Soson, v'Kol Simcha, Kol Choson, v'Kol Kalah"... Jeremiah prophesied after the destruction of the Holy Temple that "there will yet be heard in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, the sounds of mirth and the sounds of joy, the sounds of the bridegroom and the sounds of the bride".
It is our dream to celebrate our wedding in the hills of our eternal capital, the holy city of Yerushalayim.
Even as we celebrate the fulfillment of prophecies and dreams, we are nonetheless aware that many of our dear family members and friends, who have played such significant roles in our lives, will not be able to make the trip in person to attend our wedding on the 18th of Elul, corresponding to September 4, 2023.
While nothing can supplant the joy of sharing a simcha in person, we hope that you will join in the festivities of our special day virtually, enabling us to feel your presence with us, spiritually. Ever since our engagement was announced, we have received a flood of warm wishes, kind gifts and elated phone calls, reminding us that our extended family is rejoicing with us all the way!
We look forward to taking this beautiful energy with us to Jerusalem and having you be a part of our wedding through the medium of modern technology and the power of heartfelt “Mazel Tovs!” Moreover, we look forward to reciprocating at simchas in your own families – may they be many!
Sincerely and Gratefully Yours,
Chaim and Hadas
